About Coach Nibbs

Coach Nibbs was born in Germany but mainly grew up in the Virgin Islands. His parents were missionaries, and he's pretty much spent his life helping others. As a kid, he was into all sorts of sports and loved pushing himself to get better. Learning new stuff was always fun for him too.

While in college, Coach Nibbs tried out a bunch of different sports but ended up sticking with track and field because he just couldn't get enough of that speed. Even before finishing college, he realized his true passion was helping young athletes develop and succeed, especially those looking to take their game to the next level.

For over 20 years, Coach Nibbs has dedicated his life to helping youth athletes reach their goals. With the amazing athletic culture in the Rock Hill area, he thought it was super important to create a solid track and field program that everyone in the community could get behind.

A few years back, he found out he had multiple sclerosis, which started to slow him down a bit. But instead of holding him back, it motivated him to kickstart the program while he could still make an impact. Coach Nibbs believes that the tough challenges he's faced show his athletes how to overcome obstacles and failures if they just keep pushing forward.
